South Korean star Park In-bee, the world No.1 woman golfer, decorated seven of her 16 career championship victories won at the Women`s PGA with major titles. "I feel comfortable at major championships," she said. "I can concentrate better."

Park will receive a special prize befitting her title "Major Queen." The 27-year-old will be presented with the Rolex Annika Major Award on Friday, when the third round of the Evian Championship, the last major event of this year, will be held. The LPGA Tour established the award to commemorate Annika Sorenstam, who won 72 championships, including 10 majors, in her career. The award is offered to a player who has the most outstanding major championship record of a year. Park clinched the award as she won the KPMG Women`s PGA Championship for the third consecutive year before grabbing the Women`s British Open title last month.

Park, who finished second to Michelle Wie by 10 points last year, has become the first South Korean golfer to receive the honor. "This award is even more special to me because it commemorates Sorenstam, who has been my role model since my childhood days," said Park. "I really wanted to win this award this year. I am so glad because I win this award after achieving a career Grand Slam."

Meanwhile, Park kick teed off her Super Grand Slam chase at the Evian Championship on Thursday alongside second-ranked Lydia Ko of New Zealand and Stacy Lewis of the United States, No. 3 in the world. Park came on top in the 2012 competition before it became a major event. If she wins this year, she will become the second woman golfer to achieve a Super Career Grand Slam of winning four different majors after Karrie Webb of Australia.
