The Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday (Korea time) moved Ryu Hyun-jin from the 15-day disabled to the 60-day disabled list. This means Ryu can`t return to the mound until May 27. Manager Don Mattingly said Ryu`s timeline is unchanged. Having injured the same shoulder three times during an 11-month span, Ryu is expected to return early June.

The Dodgers have made a trade on Monday with the Toronto Blue Jays, acquiring right-handed pitcher Matt West from Toronto. With bull pen pitchers exhausted the previous day as the game had extended to 13 innings, the Dodgers also promoted left-handed pitcher Daniel Coulombe of the Minor League.

Meanwhile, Kang Jung-ho from the Pittsburgh Pirates could keep his first Major League home run ball thanks to pitcher Jared Hughes. Hughes was in the bull pen when he saw Kang hit home run, went to the spectator who caught the ball and gave him four Pirates player signed balls in exchange of Kang`s ball. Kang said he would bring the ball home.
