Korea`s female golfers grabbed 10 wins in LPGA last year starting with Park In-bee`s first win at the 2014 Manulife Financial LPGA Classic in June.

While the first win was not made until mid-year, the golfers have paced more quickly this year. Choi Na-yeon won on Jan. 31 the 2015 Coates Golf Championships, the opening game of the season, and Kim Sei-young also won the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic on Sunday.

The biggest number of wins for Korean players was posted at 11 wins in 2011, and prospects are that this record will be broken this year. Park and Choi, the so-called veteran "Park Se-ri Kids," and Kim Sei-young, Kim Hyo-joo and Jang Ha-na, who are called the "Little Se-ri Kids," are showing a superb harmony. It will not be a surprise whoever wins.

At the Pure Silk-Bahamas Classics, Kim and Yoo Sun-young (ranked joint second) and Park (ranked joint fifth) placed themselves in top five. At the Coates Championships, Jang (joint second) and Yang Hee-young (joint fifth) were listed in top five.

Korean players who are new to the LPGA tour are adapting quickly even as rookies. Kim grabbed a win after playing in two competitions, while Jang displayed competitive edge by ranking No. 2 at the Coates. Rising star Kim Hyo-joo will debut at the Honda LPGA Thailand that starts on February 26.

When Lydia Koh (three wins), Michelle Wie (two wins) and Christina Kim (one win) are counted, ethnic Korean female golfers grabbed 16 wins in total last year. Players with Korean nationality alone are expected to break the record this year. LPGA will begin the ISPS Handa Women`s Australian Open, its third competition, on February 19.
