Salvation Army’s red charity pots will also be seen in the Seoul subway lines No. 5-8.

Following the Dong-A Ilbo`s report on this issue on Friday, Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation announced that it would grant permission to the Salvation Army for using places at 29 subway stations to install charity pots and perform activities to collect charity money.”

The corporation was delaying approval on the charity pots making excuses of "advertisement right infringement lawsuit" raised by Smart Channel, a PR agency for the subway lines No. 5-8.

Regarding the reason that the corporation changed its stance, an official of Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation explained, “The corporation never said no to Salvation Army. We discussed with the charity organization asking to perform the charity pot event within the extent not to block flow of traffic and not to block the advertisement signboards.”

Accordingly, Korean Salvation Army plans to start charity pot activities at subway stations for the month of December.
