9th London Korean Film Festival opens in London

The 9th London Korean Film Festival opens Wednesday (local time) at Leicester Square in London.

The event will present 55 movies with "Kundo: Age of the Rampant" directed by Yoon Jong-bin offered for the opening gala and "Revivre" of director Im Kwon-taek for the closing gala. The festival will also offer special sections of "Director Kim Ki-duk Focus" and "Actor Jung Woo-sung Focus." Director Kim`s news films and major movies of actor Jung who recently widened his career to director will be provided. Actors Ahn Sung-ki, Jung Woo-sung, Kang Dong-won and Lee Dong-hae will join various events at the site.

London Korean Film Festival is hosted by the Culture, Sports and Tourism Ministry and supported by the Korean Film Council, with the Korean Culture Center UK launching it every year in November.
