Park So-hyun who is considered as the next figure skater after figure skating star Kim Yu-na is a lucky girl. Thanks to Kim winning tickets for Korea to compete in the Olympic Games, Park could play at the Sochi Olympics in February this year.

Kim has also helped Park after retirement. Park belongs to All That Sports, the same management firm that Kim is in, and gets private lessons from Kim three to four times a week. The first fruits came at the 2014-2015 International Skate Union figure skating senior Grand Prix first competition that ended Monday. At the Chicago Sears Center, Park got 114.69 at the female free figure skating singles. Combined, she received 170.43 after getting 55.74 in short program. Though the score was short of her best ISU official record of 176.61, she did well considering that it was her first senior Grand Prix event.

Russia`s Elena Radionova won gold medal with 195.47 and Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, also from Russia, got a silver medal with 189.62.
