Park In-bee, South Korea`s top female golfer, has tied the knot. The 26-year-old married to golf coach Nam Ki-hyeop at an outdoor wedding hall of Seowon Valley country club located in Paju, Gyeonggi Province on Monday. Nearly 600 well-wishers attended the ceremony to celebrate a new start of their life, with her four fellow golfers - Choi Na-yeon, Kim In-kyung and Oh Ji-young and Ryu So-yeon - serving as bridesmaids.

Notably, foreign star golfers who had participated in the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia on Sunday, were also present to congratulate the new couple. More than 60 golfers including Chinese golfer Peng Shanshan, who won the Sime Darby title, and Tseng Yani and their family members were also in attendance at the wedding.

After the wedding, Park will stay the first night at the couple`s new apartment in Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province, before starting a training round on Tuesday to prepare for the Korea Exchange Bank-Hana Championship of the LPGA tour, which will open on Thursday at the Ocean Course in Sky 72 Golf Club in Incheon.

Her first encounter with Nam was made at a golf driving range in Los Angeles in 2006, when she was a high school senior. Since 2008, she has been dating with him in earnest. Having struggled amid a prolonged slump without winning any title in the LPGA tour for four years, she was able to enjoy the zenith in her golf career thanks to the power of love as she started taking on tours with her fiancé Nam in August 2011. The couple plans to have a baby after the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in which Park aims to win a medal.
