A virtual travel experience service on globally renowned tourist spots provided by Google Maps is popular.

Google Maps showcased scenery from the Liwa Desert in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on Sunday. Users move to regions they want using Google Maps and enjoy the scenery around the desert. After showcasing relevant video files on Sunday, YouTube has attracted more than 1.1 million viewers as of Thursday.

The Liwa Desert is well-known for sand that takes on a red hue at sunset, but is difficult to access by tourists owing to its high temperatures of more than 50 degrees Celsius and strong winds. The pictures of the desert, which Google Maps is currently providing, were taken by trekkers who mounted photographic equipment on camels and crossed the desert three hours a day, for three days.
