"Gold medal is hers if she maintains her consistency."

Choreographer Ludmila Dimitrova has helped rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon Jae grow as a world-class gymnast. She has worked with Son since 2010, helping her with ways to display her strengths. This year for the Incheon Asian Games, Dimitrova focused on expressiveness and high level difficulty.

Dimitrova is an internationally acclaimed rhythmic gymnastics coach. She choreographed Russia`s Yevgeniya Kanayeva who won gold medals in two consecutive Olympic Games and also Russia`s Daria Dmitrieva who grabbed silver medal at the London Olympics. While she had worked with world-class gymnasts, she decided to work with Son betting on her potential. She`s been choreographer for Son for five years.

She said, "Son excels top Russian players in elegance and expressiveness. She performs with various looks on her face, and has made deep impression on judges," adding, "Asian Games is an event where Son can prove herself as Asia`s No. 1. Many rhythmic gymnastics sources believe she is top in Asia."

She expects Son to win gold medal in individual combined at Incheon Asian Games. She said, "Son has continued to score well and there is nothing to worry. Son herself considers Asian Games as a very important event, and I hope she relaxes and make no mistake."
