LG CNS said Tuesday that it completed design and test of the automation of Integrated Parcel Centre of PosLaju, Malaysia`s largest delivery firm, and would start building it this month.

The Korean company received the order in December last year at 7 billion won (about 6.9 million U.S. dollars). Malaysia has been making parcel classification work 100 percent manually. When LG finishes the project in May next year, PosLaju will be equipping its first automated logistics handling system. PosLaju plans to automate all of its 10 logistics networks in Malaysia.

LG CNS will adopt "Viva Sorter," Korea`s first development of a next-generation logistics solution, on the PosLaju`s Integrated Parcel Center. Viva Sorter automatically classifies parcels rapidly to maximize efficiency. Since Viva Sorter has been verified overseas, LG expects to gain the effect of more than 50 billion won (49.14 million dollars).

LG CNS CEO Kim Dae-hoon said, "Viva Sorter will contribute to strengthening Korea`s logistics industry and exports of Korean logistics system."
