A letter of Kim Eun-jin, who had survived from the tragic traffic accident of Puil Foreign Language High School students during a field trip, is gaining heated attention. The Dong-A Ilbo reported Monday her letter that rapidly spread through social networking services.

The traffic accident took place in 2000 and Kim`s letter sends lessons to Korea`s society what to do for the survivors and families of victims of the latest catastrophic sinking of the ferry Sewol. Via her letter, Kim told her story that she had gone through the accident. Dong-A`s report has been retwitted for more than 1,200 times. One Twitter user (@onefume) who read Kim`s letter wrote, "She asked for many things we haven`t thought about. It is a long letter but please spare time to read it." Another Twitterian (@natureslaw100) wrote, "This is a moving story telling us what to do for the survivors and the bereaved families."

Kim first posted the story at an online bulletin board at Seoul National University and received many hope-giving messages. Kim wrote Tuesday, "I would like to send my gratitude to my alumni and the newspaper who gave me a chance to deliver my letter to the families of the Sewol victims."
