Hillary Clinton describes Lewinsky as `narcissistic loony tune`
FEBRUARY 12, 2014 06:24
Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who is most likely to be the Democratic Party presidential candidate in 2016, described Monica Lewinsky as a "narcissistic loony tune." Lewinski was a former White House intern who had a sexual affair with former U.S. President Bill Clinton.

The former First Lady made the frank remarks in September 1998 in her phone call to her best friend Diane Blair, according to online media Washington Free Beacon on Monday. A political science professor at the University of Arkansas, Blair became close to both Clintons when the former president was serving as governor of the state of Arkansas.

"It was gross inappropriate behavior but it was consensual and was not sex within any real meaning," said Hilary Clinton. She defended her husband, saying, "He was driven to infidelity in part by his political adversaries, the loneliness of the presidency, and her own failures as a wife."

The revelations come in a collection of letters and notes by Blair that came to light by her husband Jim Blair when he donated the archives to the University of Arkansas library after Blair뭩 death in 2000. The portrait of Bill Clinton that emerges in the archives shows a 뱑uthless and ambitious politician," according to the Beacon quoting a 1992 campaign polling memo.

The memos also reveal that Hillary Clinton supported "single-payer health care," which is at odds with her public statements that she never supported the single-payer option. She said so at a dinner table with Blair in February 1993. 밒 have thought about this, as you might guess, for 15 years and I never seriously considered a single payer system, said Clinton in the interview with the New York Times in 2008 while contending with President Barack Obama in Democratic Party presidential candidacy.
