Putin roots for figure skater at Sochi

Russian President Vladimir Putin strokes down the hair of Yulia Lipnitskaya, who gave Russia the first gold medal in figure skating group competition at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics held at Iceberg Skating Palace in the Russian city on Sunday. Lipnitskaya ranked first in women’s single free skating program of the group competition, and thus became the biggest contributor to Russia’s winning the gold.
