Madonna and her boyfriend break up

Madonna and her boyfriend have gone separate ways.

Foreign media including CBS News reported Thursday Madonna and dancer Brahim Zaibat have broken up after three years together. The 55-year-old pop star and Zaibat, 25, started dating in 2010 and Zaibat worked as a backup dancer during her world tour last year.

Prior to meeting Zaibat, she was married to actor Sean Penn and divorced and then to director Guy Ritchie. After divorce, she dated baseball player Alex Rodriguez who was 17 years younger than her, and then model Jesus Luz who was 29 years younger.

Internet users were split over the pop star’s "love history." Some envied her while others said it unnatural. They shared ideas over the “older woman and younger man” couple, as the split came after the divorce of actress Demi Moore, 51, and Ashton Kutcher, 35, last month.

Some said, “Moore and Madonna need to get older naturally. They seem to resist it.” Meanwhile, others praised the older women, “Gender does not matter if one is competent.” and “55? She’s Madonna. Just fabulous!”

An Internet user delved into human nature behind the gossip. “People are supposed to get hurt when they break up even they are older. I wish she could meet a good guy, really.”
