With the South Korean government’s decision to withdraw all workers from the inter-Korean industrial complex in Kaesong, North Korea, 126 South Korean staff, the first group, return to the South on Saturday. Park Yoon-gyu (left), CEO of the textile company Fine Renown, wipes tears from his eyes as Choi Yeon-sik (right), the head of the company’s branch office at the Kaesong Industrial Complex, lowers his head. Choi has returned to the South after 26 days of staying in the North. All the rest of South Korean staff will return to the South on Monday.
