Students will take different curricula according to their planned course of study even if they attend the same high school.

Under the 2011 revision of school curricula announced by the Education, Science and Technology Ministry Monday, students can select one of the textbooks to be available in three difficulty levels in English and mathematics. Elementary and middle school students will see the volume of curricular study decline about 20 percent.

This plan will take effect starting with the first, second, seventh and 10th grades from the 2014 academic year.
