Lining Up for Chinese Cabbage
More than 800 people flock to a market in Seouls Gwanak district Tuesday to buy Chinese cabbage selling at 70 percent of the market price. Many started lining up at 6 a.m., with scuffles breaking out between buyers. A combined 2,670 heads of cabbage were sold in just 90 minutes.
