Mud Rain in Seoul

As it is dark already at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sejong-no, Seoul, cars with headlights on are creeping along in bumper-to-bumper traffic. On the afternoon of March 28, heavy rain, thunder and lightning were accompanied by a large hail shower that effected areas of Seoul, Gangwon and Chuncheong provinces. In some areas, yellow sand suspended in the air combined with rain, producing what appeared to be mud-rain. Rain showers will continue across the country until March 29.
