A three-year old Aylan Kurdi was found drowned on a beach in Turkey on Wednesday (local time) with his face in the sand. Pushed by the global public as the shocking photo of his body was revealed to the world, European countries are hurriedly amending their refugee policies.

For starter, Germany and France have agreed on the refugee quota principle that the EU members will mandatorily accept their shares out of 160,000 refugees. Accordingly, Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission, will put forward a plan by next Wednesday that 25 out of 28 EU members excluding the U.K., Ireland and Denmark would mandatorily accept 160,000 refugees. Having firmly opposed to the plan, the U.K. has decided to accept thousands of Syrian refugees, yielding to the public pressure, reported the British media on Thursday.
