The youngest son of Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara (1928-1967) has launched a motorbike tour company in Cuba.

The British daily Telegraph recently eported that Ernesto Guevara, 49, the son of Che and his second wife Aleida March, launched a website that offers trips for bikers across Cuba using motorcycles.

The company is named La Poderosa Tours after the motorbike used by Che Guevara when he toured the South American continent for nine months before graduating from a medical school in 1952. Ernesto offers two routes – named Fuser 1 (six days) and Fuser 2 (nine days). Fuser is Che’s nickname in his younger years.

The tour costs 3,000 to 5,800 U.S. dollars, quite expensive for Cuba’s consumer prices. The routes include visits to Che’s mausoleum and places connected to the revolutionary.

Ernesto, who is also a lawyer, said that many people around the world remember his father as a revolutionary and hero and that he started the tour company to share his father’s dream of sharing travel experiences with others.
