One Year Later
Marking the first anniversary of Pope John Paul IIs death on April 1, onlookers gathered in front of a mural of the Pope on Franciszkanska Street in Krakow, Poland. Krakow is the city where Pope John Paul II served as bishop prior to his appointment as Pope. The mural contains many small pictures of Pope John Paul II.
