2005 Nobel Prizes

The 2005 Nobel Prizes were awarded in the Stockholm Concert Hall in Sweden on December 10. Laureates in the fields of medicine, chemistry, physics, and economics received prize money and gold medals from Sweden`s King Carl XVI Gustaf. Harold Pinter, a British playwright and the Nobel Prize laureate in Literature, did not attend the ceremony due to health problems. The peace prize was awarded in Oslo, the capital of Norway, according to tradition.
