Three terrorist suicide bombings at Egyptian vacationing spots along the Sinai Peninsula on October 7 aimed at Israeli tourists have left at least 203 people dead or wounded.

With another bomb explosion at the Indonesian Embassy in Paris, France, wounding nine people including some of the embassy employees, and other terrorist bombings in Iraq and Afghanistan, the whole world is shaken once again with the fear of terrorism.

Foreign press reports that at least 43 have died and 160 injured in a series of suicide bombing at three places including the resort town of Taba in the Sinai Peninsula on the evening of October 7.

Most of the casualties were Israelis on vacation for a Jewish holiday. Twelve Israelis and two people from Great Britain died or suffered injuries. The Egyptian Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified on October 8 that 12 people died and 135 were injured in this terrorist bombing.

The French media AFP reported that an armed terrorist group known as “World Islamic Group,” or WIG, sent in a message claiming the explosion at Taba Hilton to be its work.

Meanwhile, the French press reports that there was a blast in front of the Indonesian Embassy in Paris, France around 5:30 a.m. on October 8, which left nine people with minor injuries. This is the first terrorist bombing on French soil since the war in Iraq. Four of the injured people were employees at the embassy, and the bomber has not yet been identified.
