| Preparations for the resumption of the stalled six-party talks will be made in earnest on the occasion of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Hanoi, Vietnam on November 18 and 19.
Cheong Wa Dae spokesperson Yoon Tae-young said yesterday that President Roh Moo-hyun will have talks with U.S. President George W. Bush on November 18 during the meeting.
The two leaders are expected to discuss measures to resume six-party talks on resolving North Korea’s nuclear issue at the summit, which will occur two months after the Korea-U.S. summit in Washington on September 14.
