“Kaok Sung-moon, who is being investigated, is included on the additional investigation list, and Han Sun-kyo will be investigated as suspicions were raised through broadcasts,” said Rep. Huh Tae-yeol, GNP secretary general, on April 14 on an SBS radio program. “Three to four people, excluding lawmakers Kaok and Han, are not members of the GNP,” he added. There are rumors in and out of the GNP that lawmakers named P and K in the metropolitan area might be on the list.

Seoul Central Prosecutor’s Office, in charge of investigating the GNP bribery scandal, summoned three aspirants for the head of district office, who allegedly delivered money to wives of Rep. Kim Deog-ryong and Rep. Park Sung-vum.

A hopeful for the head of the Seocho-gu office, identified by his family name of Han, and his wife, and someone identified as Chang, who claims to have delivered money to Rep. Park Sung-vum’s wife, were summoned. The prosecution banned lawmakers Kim and Park from leaving the country, and plans to summon the wives of the two lawmakers next week.
