Forsythias in full bloom

Amid sporadic rain or snow in certain regions of Korea, forsythias, a messenger of the spring, are in full bloom Wednesday at a fence near Namcheon Cathedral in Busan. A late but brief late cold spell in winter is forecast to temporarily grip the nation Thursday and Friday. The mercury is expected to rebound to the level of previous years this weekend to allow people to enjoy warm spring weather.
