Attempted entry into nuclear reactor complex

Residents of Yeonggwang County, South Jeolla Province on Tuesday seek to dismantle an iron fence installed around the Yeonggwang Nuclear Power Plant complex, urging authorities to implement measures to ensure safety at the facility. More than 300 people who joined the protest engaged in physical conflict with police in trying to enter the complex with a bier symbolizing people who die due to nuclear reactor accidents.
