Dance with Dangun

Members of the cultural organization Youth Association of Kookhakwon hold a demonstration of traditional Korean dance and martial arts Thursday at Seoul Plaza to commemorate the 4,381st anniversary of National Foundation Day. Students wear masks of Dangun, the legendary founder of Korea`s first kingdom Gojoseon. The association was formed in December 2003 to protect China`s attempts to distort the history of Korea`s ancient Goguryeo Kingdom.
