| Remains of 6th-century Woman Restored

 The remains of a 16-year-old girl of the ancient Gaya Kingdom from 1,500 years ago is restored with cutting-edge technology. The Gaya National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, unveiled the restored woman yesterday after excavation of a sixth-century tomb. She is believed to have been a servant of the tomb`s owner and buried alive with the dead. She is presumed to have been 153.5 centimeters tall with a slender body. The display will run at the National Palace Museum of Korea in Seoul until Nov. 29.
