A special exhibition titled “North Korea’s Cultural Heritage—National Treasures from Pyongyang” was opened to the public in the National Museum of Korea located at Yongsan-gu, Seoul on June 12. On exhibit are North Korea’s 50 national treasures, including a bronze statue of Taejo Wang Geon and Golden Bodhisattva (right), and 11 second-order national treasures, including Goryeo metal types. It will continue through August 16 at the National Museum of Korea and then be moved to the Daegu National Museum to be held from August 28 through October 26. An exhibition ticket is 10,000 won for adults (including the 2,000 won museum entrance fee).
