Samsung Electronics has revealed Thursday on its website the latest mobile application processor Exynos 7 Octa.

The Exynos 7 Octa is a mobile application processor mounted on the Galaxy Note 4. It is an Octa Core product with four high-performing big cores with four low-electricity little cores. Compared with Exynos 5 Octa, the data processing performance has increased by 57 percent and graphic processing performance by 74 percent, according to Samsung Electronics.

This product has been called the Exynos5433 in the industry. " Samsung Electronics renamed it the Exynos 7 Octa and officially announced it, which can be interpreted that the company is confident in the performance and stability of the new application option," an industry insider said. In late last year, Samsung Electronics had launched the Exynos 5 Octa, which was the first to mount eight cores, but was unable to use it on its Galaxy S4 due to flawed performance and telecom service support issues.
