Cattle vaccination
The government has begun vaccinating cattle to stem the spread of foot and mouth disease. Some 130,000 heads of cattle in Andong and Yecheon in North Gyeongsang Province and Paju, Goyang and Yeoncheon in Gyeonggi Province were the first to be vaccinated. On the first day of vaccination Saturday, a quarantine officer gives a shot to a cow in Andong.
