Kermit the Frog Turns 50

Kermit the Frog gained worldwide fame through Sesame Street, a U.S. TV program for preschoolers. The Muppet Holding Company, the puppets manufacturer, plans to hold street parades in 50 countries, starting in Kermit, Texas, to celebrate its 50th birthday.
