Korea summons Japanese diplomat over sovereign violation

Hisashi Michigami, vice chief of the Japanese embassy in Korea, enters the Korean Foreign Affairs Ministry building in Sejong-no, Seoul on Thursday, after being summoned. The South Korean government strongly protested against Japan`s sovereignty claim over Korea’s easternmost islets of Dokdo by saying that "Dokdo is Japanese territory" at an assembly hosted in central Tokyo by Japanese politicians and local government officials.
