History of donga.com
The Dong-a Ilbo's Internet company, donga.com, formerly known as Midas Dong-a Ilbo, came into being with the separation from The Dong-a Ilbo of its Database and Broadcast Media departments in October, 1996. These departments are now independently operated.
Relaunched as an "Internet Journal for the 21st Century" through the provision of a new CI and sweeping renovation of the site, as well as the inauguration of an independent Internet news coverage headquarters, donga.com is now building a new image as a forward-looking media enterprise.
Following is a brief history of donga.com:

| Jan. 13, 2000 | Company name changed to "donga.com" |
| April 1, 2000 | Donga.com site and CI renovated |
| April 2000 | Internet news coverage headquarters established |
| July 1, 2000 | Internet news coverage headquarters expanded |
| July 11, 2000 | Services in English, Chinese and Japanese launched |
| Aug. 16, 2000 | Integrated network opened |
| Apr. 1, 2000 | Site renovated again and IT section added |
| Apr. 2000 | Established donga.com Art Group 'Fusion Art Company' |
