South Korean swimming star Park Tae-hwan has won two golds in the world’s short course championship.

The 27-year-old swimmer won the gold in the men's 200-meter freestyle at the FINA World Short Course Swimming Championships in Windsor, Canada, on Wednesday (local time) with a record time of 1:41.03.

Park won his first gold in the men’s 400-meter free style on Tuesday, breaking Ryan Lochte‘s record of 1:41.08 in the 2010 Championship in Dubai. He also broke his Asian record of 1:42.22, set at the Berlin stop of the Championship back in 2007. With a faster flip turn and a better performance, he beat Chad le Clos of South Africa (1:41.65) who won silver in the men’s 200-meter freestyle in the Rio Olympics.

Park will also compete in the 100-meter and 1,500-meter free style events of this championship.
