Army abuse unspoken and unheard

At the National Assembly in Seoul on Monday, Army Chief of Staff Gen. Kwon Oh-sung (right) is bowing while attending with Defense Minister Han Min-koo at an emergency question and answer session of the National Assembly National Defense Committee. The committee session was held to inquire into the incident of a young draftee who died from beating in the Korean Army`s 28th Division. Committee members claimed that the Army attempted to reduce the gravity of the issue of Yoon’s death and suggested a reprimand to Kwon.
