Hyundai Mobis ranked sixth in the global auto parts market last year, up from eighth in 2012.

According to Automotive News in the U.S. on Wednesday, Hyundai Mobis had 24.7 billion U.S. dollars in sales of original equipment parts last year, trailing Bosch of Germany (No. 1), Denso of Japan (No. 2), Magna of Canada (No. 3), Continental of Germany (No. 4), and Aisin Seiki of Japan (No. 5). The Korean company ranked 25th in 2006 but continued its strides to hit 10th in standings in 2011, joining the league of top 10 players for the first time.

Apart from Hyundai Mobis, four Korean auto parts makers, including Hyundai Wia, made the list of the 100 largest auto parts manufacturers. Hyundai Wia rose to 35th this year from 38th in 2012, while Mando (46th to 43rd), Hyundai Powertech (70th to 54th), and Hyundai Dymos (90th to 76th) all saw their ranks advance.
