Han Jin-seob, 33, South Korea`s biggest shooting star, thinks about shooting all the time. Everyone close to him says that he has nothing but shooting in his mind even when he is taking a break.

Such enthusiasm made Han the country`s top rifle shooter. On Friday, men`s 50-meter 3 positions rifling shooting event was held during an annual national shooting championship in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province.

Han, who advanced to the finals, ranking top in the qualifiers with 1,170 points, grabbed a gold medal by shooting 454.3 in 45 shots fired (15 shots in each of the prone, standing and kneeling positions), defeating Kwon Joon-cheol who shot 452.0 points. Han also won bronze medals in the prone shooting and 10-meter air rifle events, grabbing medals in all of the three events he competed in.

A winner of three gold medals in the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, Han is aiming higher for the 2014 Incheon Asian Games to be held in September. "Four years ago, I aimed for four gold medals but won three," he said. "This time, I want to win six, which is not an impossible goal if I manage to make no mistake."
