U.S. President Barack Obama who is one of the most popular models for selfies these days took a selfie in Malaysia on Sunday during his tour to the nation.

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak uploaded a selfie with the U.S. president on his Twitter account with the title, “My selfie with President Obama!” This picture was taken right before the joint press conference held after the two leaders’ bilateral summit, according to the Associated Press.

Some point out that it was inappropriate for the two leaders to take a selfie with smiles after discussing sensitive issues such as the territorial dispute at the South China Sea, human rights infringements in Malaysia and the missing of Malaysian airplane. Besides, the U.S. president refused to take a selfie with a 13-year-old girl when he visited the U.S. military base in Yongsan, Korea. The fact that he took a selfie with the prime minister less than 24 fours after his refusal to the girl has raised controversies.
