No Brain, a Korean punk rock band, has been picked by Seymour Stein, 71, the album producer who brought American pop icon Madonna to a success.

Stein, vice president of Warner Brothers Records, attended the 2013 Seoul International Music Festival held at GS Xi Gallery located in western Seoul on Friday. “It is amazing that the singers who perform ‘incredible’ music have not been discovered by any global music album producer during the 17 years of their music career,” Stein said. “After watching No Brain’s performances in Toronto and New York in March, I came to love them at first sight, and signed an album production contract before others.”

After concluding the legal contract by year’s end, No Brain will start recording their music album with a local producer at a studio in California as early as January next year. Chances are high that the album will be produced in English. No Brain’s leader Lee Seong-woo said, “Upon hearing Stein’s offer, we initially thought that he was joking. We will do our best to make a great output.”
