Larry Page, co-founder and CEO of Google, met with Lee Jae-yong, vice chairman of Samsung Electronics, and discussed ways of cooperation Friday. The U.S. technology guru also met with President Park Geun-hye and discussed creative economy among others.

Upon arriving in Seoul via his private jet, Page directly moved to Samsung’s display works in Asan, South Chungcheong Province by chopper and took tour to organic light emitting diode production lines there. Then, he visited Samsung Electronics’ headquarters in Seoul’s Seocho district, held luncheon with Lee and discussed ways of cooperation between the two tech giants for more than two hours. Seeing off Page, Lee told reporters, “We have agreed to cooperate (with Google). Page expressed keen interest in Samsung`s OLED business.”

President Park said, “I am very pleased that Google and Korean companies generate good synergistic effect,” adding, “I hope to see more great things through (Korean companies’) cooperation with Google.”
