A new online service launched Tuesday allows people to read the content of daily newspapers automatically delivered to their e-book terminals every morning.

Interpark, which sells the e-book terminal Biscuit, launched a service to enable e-subscriptions to 15 dailies, including The Dong-A Ilbo and Sports Dong-A, and five magazines, including Dong-A Business Review, that are automatically delivered to the Biscuit terminal.

Unlike a conventional e-book newspaper subscription in which readers must select a newspaper and download the content, the latest issue of a daily is electronically delivered to a Biscuit around 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. every day, a time when the terminal is rarely used.

The service is similar to getting a morning newspaper delivered to a home every morning. A Biscuit user can receive the service anywhere as long as he or she has a terminal and mobile telecom service.

A person can subscribe to a newspaper through the online e-book store Biscuit Store on the Interpark homepage via the Biscuit terminal. The subscription fee is 4,900 won (four U.S. dollars) per month per newspaper, which is cheaper than print subscriptions that range between 12,000 and 15,000 won (10 to 13 dollars).

The Biscuit terminal costs 398,000 won (324 dollars) and can be purchased at Interpark.com.
