There are special places that people can enjoy fancy lights in Gyeonggi Province this winter.

According to the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization on Tuesday, the Light Fairy Festival at Herb Island in Pocheon City is a night festival formed with small lights. The Santa Village where colorful lights are full at a lavender field makes people as if they are in one of the scenes in a fairy tale. People can also enjoy a special aroma therapy at a herb heeling center or make Christmas trees and soaps wearing Santa Clause clothes. Admissions fees are 6,000 won (5.12 dollars) for adults and 4,000 won (3.41 dollars) for children and senior people.

The Pocheon Art Valley, which turned an alienated quarry into an arts place, is also a popular nighttime venue. One can ride a monorail and pass Cheongju Lake during which he or she can meet exceptional night scene, while the astronomy science museum shows off beautiful starlights. At the first and second floor of the observatory, people can visit an exhibition room where they can meet the secrets of the universe and human challenges. The third floor has an outer space telescope where people can enjoy constellation voyages. One can also observe planets and groups of stars at the rooftop.

The World Nightview Fantasy Lighting Festival at the Bucheon Aiins World is full of world cultural heritages and 68 world famous buildings in 24 countries including the seven wonders of the world, which are shrunk to 1/25th of the real size. One can begin at the British zone with Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace, and then move on to the French Zone with the Eiffel Tower and Louvre Museum, thus enjoying Europe's architect heritages including the Colosseum and Acropolis. Admissions fees are 16,000 won (13.7 dollars) for adults and 13.000 won (11.1 dollars) for children.

At the main observatory room in the Anseong Astronomical Science Museum in Bogaemyeon, Anseong, there is a 250-millimeter refracting telescope suited to observing planets and the moon, and people can observe the sunspot in daytime and constellation, planets and nebula at nighttime. At the 4D video room, the chair moves while observing the astronomical video with various effects including water, wind and fogs, enabling a unique experience. Admissions fees are 4,000 won (3.41 dollars) for adults and 2,000 won (1.7 dollars) for children and senior people.
