Usain Bolt, known as “Lightning Bolt,” sported his close relationships with famous football players as an avid football fan.

Many English Premier League (EPL) players attended the premier of the movie “I Am Bolt,” a documentary film about the sprinter’s life at the Leicester Square in London on Monday (local time). They including Arsenals’ Hector Bellerin and Santi Cazorla, Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling had a photo op with Bolt on the red carpet.

Bolt, known as a Manchester United fan, has said he would like to join the football club. Asked whether he had been approached by Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, he joked: "Not yet. Hopefully he'll call me and see what's going on. I'm really excited about that."

In an interview with an Argentinian weekly magazine, Bolt said, “Had I become a football player, I would have become a mixture of both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. He will retire after the World Championship in London in August next year and will start his new career as a soccer player. Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said in the past that Bolt would train with the Bundesliga club.

The documentary film about the sprinter was shot by directors Benjamin Turner and Gabe Turner who filmed “The Class of 92,” a documentary film about six Manchester United players in the 1990s.

"Most people's concept of me is that 'Oh Usain, it must have been easy for Usain. He wouldn't have any stress here's no stress' ... but it's not." Bolt, the first person to win three consecutive 100 and 200 meters and 400 meter-relay, said he did not even want to go to the training place in the run-up to the 2016 Rio Olympics . However, he overcame the stress and became a legend after winning medals in three categories for three consecutive years.
