The "Elim Arts Center" - theater exclusively designed for classical music - will open on Dec. 9 at Cheongna International City in Incheon.

Elim Arts Center is equipped with 300-seat Elim Hall, 150-seat Chamber Hall, 30-seat Recital Hall, and a Music Room seating from 10 to 20 guests for masterclass and listening sessions. What's more, the Music Room will awe the guests with an ultimate harmony thanks to U.S. vintage theater speakers in the 1930s and 1940s, German theater speakers in the 1940s, and Western horn speakers. In addition, the Elim Hall will feature pipe organs, allowing a more diverse genre for the upcoming concerts.

The opening day of Dec. 9 will be celebrated by the string quartet "Fine Ensemble," pipe organist Shin Dong-il, record player Yeom Eun-cho, narrated by the music critic Jang Il-beom. Furthermore, the Center will also host many more distinguished artists throughout the month, including a violin solo by Chung Kyung-wha (Dec. 10), the French Sarcelles Orchestra (Dec. 16), Shin Dong-il Pipe Organ Concert (Dec. 17), a Christmas Concert with Yang Seong-won and Les Bons Becs (Dec. 23), and a piano recital by Ihm Dong-hyuk (Dec. 30).

As a private-funded theater, Elim Arts Center is established as a multi-cultural venue to provide inner peace and tranquility with cultural and arts events.
