Coldplay to hold the first concert in Korea

Coldplay, a famous British rock band known for “Fix You” and “Viva La Vida,” will hold a concert in the main stadium of Jamsil Sports Complex in southeastern Seoul on April 15. The four-member band formed in London in 1988 is called "the king of the 21st century stadium rock concert" with their music combining dreamlike sound and impressive melodies and fantastic stage production. The band has been on the list of singers that Korean fans would like to see at a concert in Korea along with U2 and Madonna. Hyundai Card holders can buy a ticket online from Interpark and Yes24 starting from noon next Wednesday while the general public can purchase a ticket from noon next Thursday. Hyundai Card holders can get a 20 percent discount and buy a ticket with the card company’s M Point. The ticket price ranges from 44,000 won (37.48 U.S. dollars) to 154,000 won (131.18 dollars).
