A colorful range of content fair to be hosted in COEX. October. 14, 2016 07:31. by 전승훈기자 raphy@donga.com. “2016 K-Content Fair” will be held in COEX in southern Seoul this weekend to provide a chance to experience music, game, character, broadcasting, culture technologies (CT), and other various contents that represent Korea.

Under the theme of “Content beyond content,” the event will host a variety of programs, such as K-pop concert, a mini concert of popular Korean pop stars, and a special show of creators.

The exhibition to be held on Sunday will consist of five themed halls and two special halls, under the overarching theme of “Five Fun Camp,” which represents conversion, concert, experience, technology and exhibition.

On the opening day of Saturday, a K-pop concert will be held for three hours at the East Gate Plaza. The event will feature 10 groups of K-pop stars including SHINee, NCT, Se7en and Crayon Pop. The concert will be broadcast on the Mnet channel “M - Super Concert.”

“The camp will take place along with the 2016 Korea Sale Festa, the biggest shopping tourism event in Korea,” said Song Sung-gak, the director of the Korea Creative Content Agency. "We are expecting that it will draw some 12,000 visitors from home and abroad including inbound tourists."
