“I just want some sleep.”

Tae-yeon (see photo), a member of Girls’ Generation, a popular South Korean group, has expressed pain on Instagram on Sunday by disclosing the list of phone calls that she received overnight by "stalking fans." The list shows that she received some 10 calls from different numbers between Saturday night and 6:30 a.m. on Sunday. As all numbers started with "001" and "006," the calls are presumably from global fans who did not consider the time difference. She deleted her posting on Sunday afternoon.

Also in April after unveiling the list of calls that she received, she had wrote a post, “I would like to ask for your understanding. As this is not a pleasant posting, I’ll delete it soon. Good night!”

Key, 25, a member of SHINee, another Korean group, also talked about his pain on Instagram in April, “I’ve been bombarded with messages and phone calls. It’s really insulting and I can’t stand it. To those of you who sent me more than 600 messages, please stop this.”

In response, Internet users said, “Stalking fans are not fans,” “They’re selfish,” and "I can’t understand why they torture people who they like.”
