“Simple Song#3,” the theme song of the movie “Youth” sung by Korean Soprano Sumi Jo, won the Best Original Song at Italy's 60th David di Donatello Awards on Monday. She also performed “Nella Fantasia” at the ceremony in commemoration of Ennio Morricone, a guru of film music. The song from the film “Mission” was written by Morricone.

The David di Donatello Awards, which began in 1955, is well known for awarding art films. The winners are given a trophy shaped like the David statue made by Renaissance sculptor Donatello.
